I am an avid soccer fan, youth coach, and parent.  I spend an inordinate amount of time observing and thinking about the beautiful game. 

This is the first of hopefully many posts about the world of youth soccer.  Please feel free to check out the pages at the top that I’ve created for more information about what this blog is all about.

This site is intended to be equal parts fun, educational, and thought-provoking.  Youth soccer has come a long way over the past few decades, and while much of it is positive, there continue to be some drawbacks as well. 

We’ll take a holistic view of youth soccer, examining perspectives of players, parents, coaches, referees, and administrators.  If you have an idea about a topic or a story you’d like to share, please leave a note in the comments section or send us a note on twitter.
